1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Dynasty browser game (the “Service”) at thedynastygame.com or play.thedynastygame.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Dynasty is a free-to-play, browser-based political and economic simulation game. Players manage dynasties, companies, and political careers within a fictional game world. The Service is provided “as is” for entertainment purposes only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
4. Account Registration
To access most features you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide a valid email address for account verification.
- Keep your password confidential and not share your account with others.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
- Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use automated scripts, bots, or cheating software to gain an unfair advantage.
- Attempt to access, modify, or damage the server infrastructure.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or game mechanics.
6. User-Generated Content & Moderation
The Service includes communication features (global chat, private messages, party messages) and customisable text fields. You are solely responsible for any content you create, post, or transmit through the Service (“User Content”).
You agree not to post User Content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, threatening, infringing, or that promotes violence or illegal activity. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or incitement to violence.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any other illegal material.
- Spam, scams, or sharing of others’ personal data without consent.
We provide in-game tools to report objectionable content. While we do not pre-screen every message, we reserve the right — but assume no obligation — to monitor, remove, or edit User Content, and to mute or ban any account, at our sole discretion and without notice. Upon becoming aware of illegal content we will act expeditiously to remove it and, where required by law, may disclose relevant information to competent authorities.
Communications may be logged and retained for safety, moderation, and legal-compliance purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. By posting User Content you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it within the Service.
7. Game Content & Virtual Items
All in-game items, currency, and progress exist solely within the game environment. They have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or goods. We reserve the right to modify, reset, or remove game content at any time without compensation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, design, graphics, and code associated with Dynasty are the exclusive property of Dynasty and its creators. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dynasty and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including loss of game progress or data.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Italy.
