The Dynasty Wiki

Complete game reference — 30 guides, updated August 2026

Dynasty is a free, browser-based multiplayer life-simulation game blending economy, politics, crime, sport and family into a single persistent world. You play one character from age 18 until death, and when they die with an heir, the bloodline continues into a new generation. This Wiki documents every system in the game in full detail — the numbers, formulas and mechanics behind the interface — so you can plan your dynasty with precision. 1

Time & Aging

Dynasty runs on game years: one game year passes every 24 real hours. When the year changes, the whole world updates in one "annual tick" — every character…

2

Character Stats

Every character has seven core stats, each ranging from 0 to 100: Health, Happiness, Energy, Fitness, Appearance, Status and Social.

3

Energy System

Some equipped items grant a social_energy_discount, reducing social-interaction costs.

4

Work, Wages & Vehicles

Get a job from the Jobs section, press Start Shift, wait for the timer (3 hours for civilian jobs, 1 hour for military duty), then Claim your wage and…

5

Education System

Every course works the same way: enrolling pays that year's tuition immediately, then you repeat a 10-Energy Study action (up to the course's per-year limit)…

6

Housing

Rent is charged automatically at the annual tick, never upfront. Missing a payment triggers immediate eviction, and a homeless parent instantly loses custody…

7

Food, Health & Death

Every year your character automatically eats one food item from inventory, best quality first:

8

Market & Trade

All prices are otherwise set freely by players and companies — there is no fixed floor or ceiling beyond the initial seeded state stock (e.g. LQ Food $160,…

9

Banking & Loans

Your credit limit is $300 flat if unemployed, otherwise expected wage × 5, where expected wage already factors in your experience and education multiplier. Plus the My Money ledger: your last 20 movements and 5 years of totals.

10

Stock Market & Shares

Industries can go public and sell shares to other players. Buying shares is the only way into the industrial economy without owning a lot and without holding a…

11

Real Estate & Construction

The first empty state lot costs $1,000; each subsequent lot purchase doubles the price ($2,000 → $4,000 → $8,000…).

12

Companies & Production

You need an already-built, empty Industry lot, Commercial unit or Bank that you own or rent, plus (for licensed activities) the matching degree/certificate. A…

13

Politics & Parliament

Founding a party costs $500 and requires a unique name. Each citizen may cast one vote per election, for a party in their own nation. The election countdown…

14

Public Works

Built by the State on the intersections between plots, so they take nobody's land. A Landfill, a Park, a Police Station that raises local security, a Hospital that heals the neighbourhood — the last two also open state posts.

15

Crime & Justice

The criminal path runs in three phases: Train a skill → Scout a target → Commit the crime.

16

Sports & Olympics

Skill gain per session scales with age (full effectiveness up to 30, tapering to near-zero after 50) and fitness, and slows as your skill approaches 100.

17

Garage & Motorsport

In the Garage you build a dedicated race car (separate from your everyday commuting car), train your driving skill, and compete in the annual Motorsport…

18

Religion

Founding a religion costs a flat $5,000 paid to the state treasury and requires choosing exactly one founding dogma. Every dogma costs $200 per member per…

19

Social Life, Nightclubs & Parks

How you meet people: encounters at work, social interactions, nights out at player-run nightclubs, and the free walk in the park — with every number.

20

Marriage, Children & Child Care

Proposing requires 500 Confidence with your partner and 1× Luxury Jewelry. It's instant if your partner is an NPC; a real-player partner must accept. Divorce…

21

Inheritance & Dynasty

When a character dies with at least one eligible heir, the dynasty continues:

22

The Third Age (70+)

At 70 a character stops being able to work, study or keep up with young athletes. Rather than leave those final years empty, the game opens a dedicated Third…

23

Items & Equipment

Items fall into a few categories: equipment (cars, clothes, jewelry — equipped for ongoing bonuses, degrading over time), consumables (food, energy drinks,…

24

Missions, Aspirations & the Compass

The Your goals board: 3 rotating missions with their rewards, one lifelong Aspiration, and the Compass — 26 objectives plus 3 optional paths that guide founders once the tutorial ends.

25

Citizenship, Nations & Travel

Bonuses apply based on your passport, not where you currently live. After 5 consecutive years of residence in a nation other than your passport nation, you're…

26

Military & War

The Military Career is a job like any other, but with 1-hour duty shifts instead of 3-hour civilian ones, requires an equipped weapon, and (for the state army)…

27

Life Insurance

A Private Bank owner (holding the Economics Degree) can sell life insurance policies: each product defines a premium, payout, duration, and minimum health/age…

28

Referral Program

Every player has a unique 7-character signup code (ambiguous characters like O/0 and I/1 are excluded). A new player who signs up with a valid code receives…

29
