Android App & Playing on Mobile
Dynasty runs in any modern browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. On Android there is also the free official app on Google Play. It is the same game and the same world, played with the same account: you can switch between the app, a phone browser and a computer whenever you like.
Get the Android App
Install Dynasty from Google Play. The app is free.
- Already playing in Chrome on your Android phone? Tap the green Android app button on your Home screen in the game: it takes you to the app's page on Google Play.
- That button only shows in a browser on Android. You won't see it inside the app, on a computer or on an iPhone.
One Account Everywhere
- Open the app and log in with your usual Dynasty name and password. Your character, money, family and everything you own are already there.
- If you already play in Chrome on the same phone, the app may open already logged in.
- Your progress is the same on every device, because it lives on the server, not on the phone. Play a shift from the app and finish it from your computer.
⚠ Don't create a new account in the app. It is one account per player: creating or using a second account is against the rules, whatever the reason.
What's Different in the App
- Its own icon: Dynasty opens full screen from your home screen, without the browser's address bar.
- The Back button works inside the game. It closes the window or panel you have open, then takes you back to Home from any other section. On Home it shows Press back again to exit, and a second press closes the app.
- A few windows wait for your answer and never close with Back, like the year change, the Ship's Log, naming your heir or the cookie choice. Pressing Back there goes straight to the exit prompt.
- Always up to date: the app loads the game from our server, so new features reach you as soon as they go live, without updating the app.
iPhone and iPad
There is no iOS app. Play in Safari: tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, and Dynasty opens full screen like an app.
Tip: on iPhone and iPad, game notifications can only be turned on from the Home Screen version. Open Dynasty from its icon, then tap Enable Notifications on your Home page in the game.
On a Computer
Open play.thedynastygame.com in any modern browser and log in. Nothing to install.
