Market & Trade
- Wholesale (B2B) — raw materials and intermediate goods, for companies only.
- Retail (B2C) — consumer goods (food, drinks, clothes, vehicles), for private citizens only.
- Cross-nation trade — you can buy from or sell to other nations' markets.
| Tax | Default | Cap | Applies to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales Tax (VAT) | 10% | 50% | Retail purchases |
| Import Tax | 10% | 60% | Buying from abroad (charged by the importing nation) |
| Export Tax | 10% | 60% | Selling abroad (charged by the exporting nation) |
| Immigration Tax | $0 | $5,000 | Entering a nation that isn't your passport nation, via any travel method (waived for citizens returning home) |
All prices are otherwise set freely by players and companies — there is no fixed floor or ceiling beyond the initial seeded state stock (e.g. LQ Food $160, Normal Food $320, HQ Food $427, Prefab $400).
Stars on the market
Every offer shows its quality, from ★ to ★★★★★ (see how stars are made). When a product has several sellers, its card shows the range of stars on sale. The Minimum stars filter at the top of the market hides every offer below the grade you pick, across all tabs; the “from” price, the stock and Best price then only count what you can see, and the server re-checks the stars of every offer at purchase. Construction goods (Clay, Limestone, Bricks, Cement, Prefab) have no stars and are never hidden. The seller is the brand: there is no separate reputation score.
Machinery is sold on the Wholesale market only, and only players make it — the State never lists it or refills it when it runs out.
🏅 Official Club Supplier
Once a year the members of The Elite Club choose one company in each nation as its Official Club Supplier, and that State buys its goods.
- Candidates: any player's company with goods on sale in that nation's market.
- Voting: every member has one vote per nation, from the Club page. It can be changed until the turn of the year, and voting for your own company is allowed.
- The title goes to the most voted company at the turn of the year (a tie is drawn by lot) and lasts the whole next year. It shows a 🏅 CLUB SUPPLIER badge on the company's offers in that nation and on its company card. A company can hold only one title: if it tops two nations, the second one goes to the runner-up.
What the State buys. Right after awarding the title, the nation's treasury buys from the Supplier's offers in that nation:
- For each product, the reference price is the median of all the other offers of the same product on the same market (retail or wholesale) in that nation — State offers included, stars ignored, and every offer of the Supplier's owner excluded. A median, not an average, so one fake sky-high listing can't move it.
- Only the Supplier's offers priced at most 2× that median are bought, cheapest first. A product nobody else sells has no reference and is not bought.
- The State spends up to the Club Supplier Budget law ($10,000 a year by default, $0–50,000), and never more than its treasury holds. Parliament can set it to $0.
- The money goes into the company's funds like a normal sale, with no VAT. The goods are used by the State and leave the market.
