Religion
Founding a religion costs a flat $5,000 paid to the state treasury and requires choosing exactly one founding dogma. Every dogma costs $200 per member per year, automatically deducted.
| Dogma | Effect |
|---|---|
| Inner Peace | +5 Happiness/year |
| Sacred Body | +5 Fitness/year |
| Prosperity | +5% work income |
| Community | +5 Social/year |
| Divine Prestige | +5 Status/year |
| Healing | +5 Health/year |
| Asceticism | +5 Energy/year |
| Discipline | +5% work income, but −20 Health & −20 Happiness if you work fewer than 3 shifts that year |
| Wisdom | +5 Status per specialisation held (up to 3) |
| Honor | +5 Happiness every time you win a sport race |
Religious works: Sacred Texts ($5,000, one-time, unlocks a second dogma) and Congregation Hall ($5,000, +5 Social/year to every member, with a small annual upkeep cost).
The religion's leader ("Prophet") sets the membership fee (up to $500) and their own leadership cut (up to 50%, default 30%). Members who go 3 consecutive years without paying dues are expelled; if the Prophet themselves is expelled or leaves, leadership passes to the longest-standing member, or the religion dissolves if they were the last one. Leaving a religion costs a $500 apostasy fee (waived for the default "Atheism" faith) plus a 1-year cooldown before joining another.
